"Nightmare" used in a light humor manner. The bikes buzz, fart, backfire, throw flames, leak oil, have intermittent petcock and carb problems, and genrally seem to have a mind of their own sometimes, but we love them anyway hence "Wonderful Nightmare". Also, in regards to being used to describe a "rally", I, like some folks, think it's the journey and not the destination that make the trip. And with the aforementioned minor problems, it can seem like a nightmare if you are on the road to/from a rally and encounter these problems...such as was the case with Stef and myself a few weeks ago. I know that all bikes have problems, and I'm not attacking any of them. I just thought "Wonderful Nightmare" would be a good light humored way to come up with the end of D-O-W-N. Wonderful because the bikes are, and Nightmare because they can be at times.
